Eilean Donan Castle

Eilian Donan Castle has a long and cruel history, it is not surprising that the castle has been restored many times. The oldest building in the area have emerged in the Middle Ages as a fortress to defend against the Vikings, and the latest built by Makrey and Gilstrap family in 1912-1932 year.
Castle was made difficult to enter. It leads graceful bridge, built during the most recent restoration. From the bridge you can see the lakes near Dorn rural and Skye mountains. Although the outlines of the castle reminds a little broken off tooth, it’s amazing because view differs from normal typical landscapes of heights, with smelly wild flowers.
